As ME Plastic Surgery reopens to the public, we’re implementing extensive protocols to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Our approach closely follows the latest recommendations from the New York State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization.
ME Plastic Surgery is proud to be a place where our community and staff can feel comfortable and cared for. We are following a carefully designed plan to safeguard the health of everyone who receives or provides face-to-face care. Our safety protocols include the following:
Patients with a procedure scheduled must have a COVID-19 PCR test performed less than 72 hours in advance and receive a negative result. Self-quarantine is required after the test. This policy exceeds the requirements set by the New York State Department of Health.
On any days when multiple procedures are scheduled, the first patient will be discharged from the recovery bay before the next patient is admitted to allow for complete turnover of the pre-op and post-op areas.
